Q-Yummus Hummus

Hummus is a simple and delicious recipe popular all across the Middle East and Mediterranean Sea. It is made from chickpeas, aka garbanzo beans, and a few other ingredients. The recipe is below...your enjoyment follows after.

Q-Yummus Hummus
Serves 6

1 can of Chickpeas/Garbanzo Beans, drained
1/4 C. of Olive Oil
2 Tbl. of fresh Garlic
2 Tbl. of Tahini (Ground Sesame Seed Paste)
Juice of 1 large Lemon Juice
1 tsp. of Cumin
1 Tbl. of Salt
Pita Chips or Pita Bread

- In a blender, place all ingredients in except olive oil and pita chips
- Blend ingredients well and slowly add olive oil
- Pour blended mixture into serving bowl
- Serve with pita chips or pita bread

Interesting - the hummus recipe I use is almost identical - (except I never actually measure, I just toss stuff in). The only ingredient difference is the cumin. I think I'll try adding that next time. I also top my hummus with paprika - nice color addition and bit o' flavor. Thanks for the cumin idea!
