This recipe is pretty self-explanatory. It is my version of a balsamic vinaigrette useful for all types of lettuce-based salads. This dressing could also be poured over a Caprese salad of sliced tomatoes, sliced mozzarella, and basil leaves.

Balsamic Vinaigrette over Mixed Greens
Serves 4
1 C. of Balsamic Vinegar
1 C. of Brown Sugar
1 Tbl. of Herbes de Provence
1/2 clove of Garlic
1 tsp. of Black Pepper
Salt, to taste
Mixed Greens
1 Tomato, sliced
Chopped nuts
- In a blender combine all ingredients and blend well
- Pour over salad and serve
