Falafel with Tsaziki Sauce
I finally made falafel. It's been on my cooking to do list for awhile. Granted it was fro
m a box and all I had to do was mix it with water. But I bought the mix from an ethnic grocery store so it makes it ok. It was a mix of spices, dried garbanzo beans, and dried fava beans. The tsaziki sauce was store bought as well. But I did do the frying. The end product was a falafel ball that was crunchy on the outside and soft & fluffy on the inside. The tsaziki sauce was a nice addition. It was cool and refreshing with a little zing. On top of a warm pita and topped with fresh tomato slices, it was a meal to remember.
